During the first quarter of 2025, HOPE FOR NATIONS implemented three strategic awareness campaigns in educational institutions within the Menoua Department, supported by technical and financial backing from the Central African Consortium for Women, Peace, and Security. Aligned with the core pillars of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325, these initiatives targeted vulnerable communities in conflict-affected areas marked by gender disparities.
The first campaign focused on capacity-building for women leaders, equipping over 320 participants from school health clubs with advanced training in mediation techniques, advocacy strategies, and school-based Gender-Based Violence (GBV) prevention, complemented by practical resources such as non-violent conflict resolution manuals and women’s rights awareness kits to enhance their roles as peace ambassadors.
The second initiative addressed GBV mitigation during crises through integrated psychosocial workshops and mobile clinics providing confidential access to reproductive healthcare and legal aid, collaborating with 15 local health centers to reach 560 students while engaging community leaders in dialogues to challenge patriarchal norms.
The third campaign adopted a regional approach by mobilizing youth across genders through intergenerational forums designed to strengthen social cohesion and incorporate female perspectives into local security frameworks, concurrently launching digital platforms to document testimonies and map gender-specific security risks.
Hope For Nations, a humanitarian beacon embodies an audacious vision: "A World Without Tears." This solidarity odyssey is rooted in the poignant journey of its founder, Mr. Tewantsa Judicael Marcelin, and the heartbreaking socio-economic realities of Central Africa. Hailing from Babadjou in Western Cameroon, this young visionary decided in 2019 to transform indignation into action by creating an organization dedicated to the most vulnerable and to inclusive development, prioritizing the nations of Central Africa.
